BIOblitz
Held in conjunction with the National Citizen Science Day, the Asheville BioBlitz will be competing with similar organizations across North Carolina to observe the most number of species found in the wild.

Throughout the spring and summer we are going to have 1 or 2 all ages dance parties, like we had all winter at our production space! We plan to keep the free family friendly fun going strong!
Geology Walk of Downtown Asheville
Join us on a geologic tour of the beautiful architecture in downtown Asheville. The tour will be about an hour long, and will begin from the Colburn Museum at 3pm. The tour is free with the price of admission to the museum. Call ahead and reserve your spot before it fills up!
Police Explorer Program (14+yrs)
Are you 14-20 years of age and interested in a career in law enforcement? If you answered yes Asheville Police Explorers is the program for you! You have the opportunity to learn from trained professionals, participate in scenarios, become involved in community service and participate in ride-alongs. The group meets the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month from 6-8 p.m. at the downtown police station (100 Court Plaza).
5th Annual Kids Get Outside Festival
Join us for the 5th annual Kids Get Outside Festival, hosted by the City of Brevard and Brevard College on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Broad Street Park, located beside the Transyvania County Library. Over 35 outstanding organizations who facilitate outdoor opportunities in Transylvania County will provide activites and information for a fun-filled family day celebrating the outdoors!
