Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS Performances stage production

April 15th & 16th

Parkway Playhouse Junior students (ages 4-10) are presenting final showcase from their Spring 2016 Production Class featuring Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS!

Tickets are available at the door.
Adults-$11; Members-$9; Students-$5.50

Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun.

Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course… sharing snacks.

Playful Pedagogy‘s playwork trainings explore the importance of play in children’s lives and the art and science of supporting children’s play outdoors. Participants learn how play engages the brain and impacts well-being while exploring creative approaches to planning for play.  Participants discover how adults can enrich those experiences while looking at open-ended approaches to working with children outdoors using methods employed in the playwork profession.
Playful, inspired, engaged adults can expand children’s potential to explore and experience through play!
Cost: $10 (includes lunch)

Library-Con 2018 (all ages welcome!)

Workshops, costumes, cosplay, panels, history, and most of all… comic books! Local Waynesville library makes it’s debut as a hot spot for all comic book and sci-fi nerds.

This event is completely free to the public and we encourage you to bring your kids and wear your favorite superhero costume or cosplay!

ETSU Chorale on Tour! Asheville, NC

The East Tennessee State University Chorale will be performing a concert at Central! This is a nationally acclaimed vocal ensemble and we hope you will join them for a family friendly afternoon of fun!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

The Bulldogs take on Presbyterian Friday night at 7 p.m. on ESPN3. We invite you to bring a kid to the game. Fans will receive one free youth ticket with an adult ticket. Adult tickets are just $6 and concessions are available at the field. Come out in your Bulldog Blue and cheer on the Dogs!

Camping World RV Show

Camping World presents their Annual Spring RV Clearance Event right here at Asheville Outlets.

April 29th-30th from 10AM-7PM and Sunday, May 1st from 11AM-6PM.

The event will be located in the back parking lot of the center near the west elm OUTLET entrance. The show is free and open to the public.
