KISS Country Hometown Tour – FREE BBQ!

Kiss Country Family, we are all kinds of excited to announce…the #HometownTour is BACK! We’ve teamed up with Hit the Pit BBQ Co. and we’re gonna be all over WNC slingin’ FREE grub. Yes…really. We’ll be set up from 11:30-1:00 at every stop…and the first 99 folks in line get lunch. On us. No strings attached. “We just want to meet y’all face-to-face, hug your neck, fill your belly…and tell you how much we love y’all for puttin’ up with us.”

ASHEVILLE MUSIC SCHOOL’S SUNDAY FUNDAY

Join us for Asheville Music School’s Sunday Funday on Sunday, April 28th, featuring their Sound Education student band showcase. Five eclectic bands will be playing everything from rock, pop, reggae, to early 70’s metal, & 90’s alternative. You’ll hear everything from Anderson Paak to Metallica. Expect photo booths, games, and all sorts of family-friendly fun!

W/ MINØR, DOLLARS ON ICE, LIMINAL SPACES, DR. FUNKY SQUIRREL, NEON SAGES, AND MORE!

This is an all-ages, general admission event with sliding-scale donations accepted at the door. Free on-site parking!

NOON – 5PM

***Proceeds benefit all Asheville Music School programs, including Sound Education outreach and scholarships through the Paul Thorpe Music Education Fund.

Come hungry because Root Down will be serving their delicious twist on Southern Soul food.

Easter Egg Hunt after the Bulldogs Baseball Game

Join us on Sunday, April 2, to watch our baseball team in its final game of the series against Presbyterian, and stick around after for an Easter Egg Hunt!
Game starts at 1 PM, with the egg hunt to follow!
Admission is free to all home baseball games this season, thanks to Ingles!

EggMazing Decorating Party

Here comes Peter Cottontail. Join us on Saturday March 18th starting at 11:00 am for an eggmazing decorating party. Kids will be invited to decorate a wooden egg to take home while supplies last.

Hippity Hop + Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday at Studio276 Art&Co. A free event mainly for the little kids, but there will be some hard-to-find eggs for older kids, too! And don’t forget, pictures with the Easter Bunny!

FREE Trial Week

We are so excited to start offering interactive music and movement classes for young children (0-5) and their grownups here in Asheville! We are offering a free week of classes from April 3rd-8th, including 3 classes for the whole family and 2 classes specifically for infants. We’re created an original curriculum that draws upon our 50 years of combined experience in the music classroom to emphasize foundational music skills, family bonding, social-emotional learning, and building a diverse and inclusive community.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

We’ve been hopping into Easter fun for over 9 years, and this year is going to be better than ever! Families, visitors, and local friends — everyone is welcome to join us for a fun-filled afternoon at Cabbage Rose in Maggie Valley!

  • Over 2,000 Eggs — ALL Filled with Money! Prizes in every egg — nickels, dimes, quarters… and we’ll supply some with bigger surprises too!
  • Costume & Bonnet Contests: For Kids: Best Costume (Girls & Boys) and Best Easter Bonnet (Girls & Boys — yes, boys can rock a hat too!) For Adults: Best Easter Bonnet
  • Parents, We Need Your Help: Please make sure children stay in their own age groups for the hunt — this helps keep things safe and fair for everyone. Thank you!
  • ♻️ We Recycle Eggs! Bring your eggs back or donate pre-filled ones — we’re accepting egg donations filled with coins now at Cabbage Rose. Tape them shut if needed!
  • Calling All Easter Bunnies! We’re hoping for the most Easter Bunnies in Haywood County! Want to volunteer? Let us know! Need a costume? We might have one, or you can find great ones on Amazon for about $50.
  • ✝️ Local Churches, Groups, & Organizations — Join Us! If you’d like to participate or bring your group, we’d love to hear from you.
