Urban Orchard Cider Co. wants to give back to Asheville by providing very well produced FREE Live Music on our outdoor stage (The Asheville’s Fun Depot Stage @ Urban Orchard Cider Co. South Slope) that is fully sponsored by local businesses and showcases some of the best local musicians that we all have grown to love. This is definitely kid friendly! We designed these shows to be early so everyone can enjoy them. Come one, come all!
Each show will take place on the 3rd Saturday of each month, beginning on April 20th and running thru September 21st, from 5pm-9pm. There will be plenty of dancing room and a bar with craft ciders and craft beers on tap. These shows will be as unique as the artists involved.

Come join us for the return of Mills River Day on Saturday, May 18th, from 11am-5pm! This will be a free event held here at the farm (3333 N. Mills River Rd, Mills River). We’ll have Mills River’s Lonesome Road, Nashville’s Levi Orr and Hendersonville local and American Idol contestant Meghan Woods performing in our music barn throughout the day. We’ll also have Ridin’ On Faith performances every hour!
We’ll have local non-profits with hands-on water quality activities, farm show, bounce houses, hay maze, u-pick strawberries, hayrides, farm tours and much more! There will also be numerous exhibits and fun for all ages!
Join us at 1pm for Run828’s Mills River Family Fun Run around the farm! We’ll start with the kids mile race with the parents race to follow. Participation prizes will be given at the end of the kids race.
We’ll also have Deli Volv and Mama Bear’s Food Truck along with Poppy’s Popcorn, Ken Cole’s Homemade Ice Cream and Butter and Bloom’s Delicious Homemade Pies!
Asheville’s doughnut makers throw down to see who’s got the best in town, PLUS a bake sale of DOUGHNUTS for the public! This is a benefit to raise money for the restoration and preservation of the historic hand-painted theater backdrops of the Asheville masonic Temple.
