Saturday Youth Outing (5-12yrs)

Saturday, October 20, 12noon-5pm
Location: Burton St Community Center
Bring your kids to hang out with our fantastic staff at Burton Street. We will take a trip somewhere in town, play games and have crafts to do. Pack water and a lunch, and we will provide a snack. Pre-registration required, space is limited. Ages 5-12

Joseph McDowell Historic Facts Fun Run/Walk

Join in on a FREE historic fun run/walk on September 22 anytime between 9 and 11 am at the Joseph McDowell Catawba River Greenway, McDowell House trailhead. Gather your family or friends or just do it yourself.

Answer historic questions about the founding of McDowell County while you run or walk a portion of the greenway. The run/walk will go around Round Hill.

POSTPONED: End of Summer Music on Main

Make plans to attend the special End of Summer Music on Main concert on Saturday, September 15th from 6-10pm. The concert features the Swingin’ Medallions, food trucks and fireworks. The concert will be held on South Main Street between Allen & Caswell Streets.
