GRAND Opening Weekend!

It’s time to celebrate our new brewery in West Asheville!

We’ll be having a three-day grand opening party Friday, Sept 21st, Saturday, Sept 22nd and Sunday, Sept 23rd.

Friday:
9 pm – Ribbon Cutting!
9:30 pm – UniHorn: Feat. Members of Empire Strikes Brass

Saturday:
3 pm – Family-friendly activities begin. Baby James cow appearance from Happy Hens & Highlands Farm, Cornhole competition, donation based massage Mountain Force Massage, giant T-Rex sprinkler, and some awesome surprises!
4 pm – Billy Litz Multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter

7 pm – HEADLINER!!! Les Amis! Members of Toubab Krewe – 6-piece worldly music band

10 pm – InfiniteC DJ producer electronic dance music

Sunday:
12 pm – Donation based Acro Yoga with Chelsea Feline
2 pm – Blood Mary Bar & Loungey DJ music with Brandon Audette & Marley Carroll
6pm – Raffle Winners Announced!

We hope that you can join us for this weekend of fun in the sun celebrating our beautiful new space in West Asheville!

PS. We will also be holding a raffle with a HUGE prize package for anyone who enters our grand opening raffle at our West Asheville location any of these three days. Tickets will be $10 and can only be purchased on-site. The One World West Grand Opening Raffle Prizes include:

1st prize – $50 Zia Taqueria Asheville Gift Card, $25 Urban Orchard Cider Company and Bar gift card + prize bag, 2 person LaZoom Tours Tour, $65 sixty min Mountain Force Massage.

Hike of the Week

Oct 18th, 10:00am-11:30am … Glassmine Falls Overlook … Join Parkway rangers for a moderate, 2 mile round-trip hike to the Lunch Rock near Craggy Gardens.  Ready or not, the winter is on its way.  And believe us, it’s much better to be ready!  Animals and people have always used autumn as a time of preparation, preservation, and celebration before the cold sets in for good.  Come find out what fall fruits are dropping on the Blue Ridge Parkway, how our animals are getting ready for lean times, and how our ancestors celebrated the Harvest. Meet at the Glassmine Falls Overlook at Milepost 361.2.  Bring water, wear good walking shoes, and be prepared for changeable weather.

Oct 25th, 10:00am-11:30am … Craven Gap … “Haunted Trail”. Join Parkway rangers at 10:00 am on Friday, October 25th for an easy to moderate, 2-mile round-trip hike through the “haunted” forest.  Pay attention to the stories being told, for they may be your last (for the season that is). From legends of nocturnal animals to fictional flower folklore, it’s bound to be a “ghoul” time. Meet at the Craven Gap parking area at Milepost 377.4.  Bring water, wear good walking shoes, and be prepared for changeable weather.

Make sure you and your family don’t miss this brand NEW Christmas Festival happening at the Recreation Center on December 22nd! This festival is for all ages! Admission is free but YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER at www.countyrec.org if you want to participate in the activities. $5/person gets you a wristband for all activities except for food vendors. We will not be taking registration/payment on site!
