HOW IT WORKS
Lions sell Duck Tickets for $5.00 each. Each of those tickets are then recorded and given a numbered duck. The nembered ducks will be placed in the Black Mountain Pool for the drawing. One prize is called out and a duck is dipped from the pool. The person with the numbered duck wins that prize. You do not need to be present to win! We would love to have you be there for the drawing.
Funds go to ongoing projects: scholarships, Marjorie McCune Assisted Living Center, and Camp Dogwood which ministers to visually impaired.

The Honeylovers are starting a summertime residency at the beautiful Isis Music Hall, on their new outdoor stage! This is a free, early show, baby Fisher approved!
Free tours of The Hop Ice Creamery! On Monday May 28th we will be opening up our production and tasting room space to the public. We book private field trips regularly but this is a chance for friends, kids and families to be a part of the experience as well. Additionally there will be dairy and vegan Ice Cream (including some very special treats) available by the scoop, pint or Ice Cream Flight 🙂

Pack a picnic, bring your books/games and adventure with us! We will choose a pretty spot along the trail to enjoy some fresh mountain air and a bit of vitamin D while reading and playing video games.
You are welcome to meet up at Haywood Comics beforehand and we’ll sort out details such as potential car pooling, etc. We will be departing from there to head over to Black Balsam at 10:30am and will be headed back to our comic shop at 3:15pm.
**The hike is 1.4 miles and rated both moderately easy and dog friendly (on leash)**
