Farmstead Christmas: Meet Santa!
Admission to this event is free. Come one, come all to the farm for the holidays! We will have hot apple cider, hot chocolate, hot coffee, and s’mores to roast on open fire. Holiday goodies will be available in the Farm Store such as garlands, wreaths, jingle bells, and more.
We will have a number of festive fun activities, such as:
Meet Santa and take your photo with him! (Free!)
Holiday Horse Rides: $7 per person
Be sure to bring your camera! Rides are weather permitting.

The Festive 5: A 5 Night Event to Kickoff the Holiday Season
Join us for a five night performance competition to kick off the holiday season. Performers will be performing live in the Mall to spread holiday cheer. Supporters can vote for their favorite performance throughout the week of the event. Voting opens November 12th and will remain open until November 18th. The act with the most votes will win the title of the city’s Festive Favorite! The winner will receive the Festive Favorite award and be announced in a special Facebook live event.

The 9th Annual Marshall Handmade Market
The Marshall Handmade Market happens every autumn on the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Marshall High Studios in Marshall, NC, from 10am to 5pm. The studios are housed in a 1920’s two story brick high school, which is nestled on a little island in the French Broad River. On show day the spacious, sunny auditorium is filled with some of the best makers in the region, and the resident artists open the doors of their classrooms-turned-studios to visitors. We’ll have delicious Thai food from the Bun Intended food truck,sweet and savory pastries from OWL Bakery, a musician or two, and plenty of seating on the generous back deck. Our idyllic island setting, the charming historic high school and fantastic artists all combine to make the Marshall Handmade Market a favorite among holiday markets for locals and visitors.

Half Day Holiday Camp (5-12yrs)
Don’t let the kids spend Christmas break on the couch watching TV, playing on I-pads and video games! Bring them to Launch where they can make lifetime friends and have fun all while getting some exercise! Our camps are for Kindergarten through 8th graders! Due to Winter Storm Diego, aka The Carolina Crusher, the BRO Revels Concerts originally scheduled for Sunday, December 9 are being rescheduled for Sunday, January 13, at a time and venue to be announced.
