2017 Veterans Day Observance

The Town of Weaverville will hold its 2017 Veterans Day Observance at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, November 11, at Lake Louise Park. The guest speaker will be Sgt. First Class Peter Gonzalez, Center Commander, Asheville Army Recruiting Center. Sgt. Gonzalez is a 14-year veteran and lives with his wife and three children in Woodfin, NC. The program will also feature the Reuter Center Singers, the North Buncombe High School JROTC, the Weaverville Police Department rifle squad, and bagpiper Howard Dusenbery.

The event is open to the public and your attendance is encouraged.

Springtime Medieval Market

Peasants, rogues, warriors, and wanderers; we welcome you to the Springtime Medieval Market on Saturday, March 24th! Join us in West Asheville for another wonderful day of artistry, artisanry, and revelry! There will be merchants from near and far, dancers nimble and lovely, warriors fearsome and brave, and musicians melodic and lively! ALL folk are welcome, and attendance will continue to be free!

Winter Local Art and Food Festival!

Hello there beautiful people of Asheville! We are planning a Winter Local Art and Food Festival and would love for you all to attend and/or participate! The goal for this event is to celebrate and support all of the talented art and food crafters in the area, get everyone thinking about supporting local for the holidays, and to bring the community together for some food, wine, and beer tastings here in the market!

We will announce the art and food vendors soon but we wanted to get everyone excited and buzzing about this now! Lets celebrate all of the local talent around us and enjoy a day together!

Harvest Festival

We will have our Harvest Festival from 11am -4pm.
We will have Food, Games, Local Vendors, Raffles, and Much More!
We will have a BBQ Dinner and Gospel Singing at 5pm.

We are selling advanced tickets to the BBQ Dinner.
Cost is $10 per plate for an Adult, $5 a plate for ages 6-10, and 5-Under eat Free! *** VETERANS EAT FREE! ***

Wrist bands are avalible for the games and face painting.

We will also be sell raffle tickets in advace for a Flat Screen TV or and Xbox One! Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5

We are also renting tables for local vendors and crafters!
