Arbor Evening
NEW DAYS AND NEW FOOD FOR 2025! Wednesdays & Thursdays June 11th through September 18th, 2025 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Sip and stroll through the Arboretum’s gardens in the glow of the golden hour, all while listening to live music from a variety of local and regional artists, AND grab a meal from a rotating selection of food trucks! Kid friendly!
There is no additional cost to attend ArborEvenings beyond our standard parking fee. As always, Arboretum Society members and their accompanying guests can enter for FREE (guests must be in member vehicles to receive free entry). Proceeds from ArborEvenings help support the The North Carolina Arboretum Society and further advance the Arboretum’s mission.
ArborEvenings is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, Arbor Evenings will relocate indoors to the Baker Visitor Center. Guests are welcome to bring in outside food and non-alcoholic beverages. However, outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Dress Up Like a Fairy Contest (open to all ages)
Show off your best fairy costume at Bullington Gardens 1st annual Dress Up Like a Fairy Contest! Show up in your magical fairy outfit, get your picture taken and have our social media followers choose the winner. Winner of the Dress Up Like a Fairy Contest will win their very own Fairy Tea Party complete with wand making activities, a guided walk through the fairy trail and tea and cookies for your party of 8.
