SPRUCE PINE: 4th of July Parade & Fireworks

July 5th, 2025

Spruce Pine Kiwanis and Town of Spruce Pine 4th of July Parade will take place at 6:00pm on Oak Avenue Downtown Spruce Pine, with lineup happening starting at 5 pm on Roan Rd. Sponsored by the Spruce Pine Kiwanis and the Town of Spruce Pine.

After the parade, stay and grab a quick bite of dinner from a downtown restaurant and then head to Riverside park for the Fireworks show at dusk. 

Riverside Park will have limited access during the day and evening for detonation set up.

FLAT ROCK: Baby, You’re a Firework! Annual Fireworks Show

Join us for Marked Tree’s Famous Fireworks Saturday June 29th! Fireworks after sunset!

Happy Saturday, Happy Summertime, and Happy 4th! Marked Tree brings the Oooh’s and … Ahhh with our annual Fireworks show the Saturday before 4th of July!  Bring the family as we celebrate our nation’s birthday with delicious wines, BBQ by Carolina Ace, Pizza by Travelin’ Dough, and a fireworks finale! Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling the vineyard at 828-513-3773. Walk-ins are welcomed as well! Starting at 6pm, we will allow blankets and lawn chairs on our side lawn! 

BURNSVILLE: 4th of July Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day in Burnsville, North Carolina! 🇺🇸

Join the Town of Burnsville and the Yancey County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, July 4 starting at 5 PM for an evening of family fun, food trucks, live music, and a spectacular fireworks show!

Bring your lawn chairs, your friends, and your patriotic spirit — it’s going to be a night to remember!

Movie Night in the Garden

🌟 Join us for an “out-of-this-world” evening at the Ten Acre Garden!

  • 🍿 6:00PM – 9:30PM: “Extraterrestrial Treats” Station Fuel up with our stellar snack station featuring freshly popped popcorn and delightful candy bags. Perfect for munching while youphone home!
  • 🎬 6:30PM – 9:30PM: Outdoor Movie – “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” Beam down for a magical outdoor movie experience with a screening of the classic film “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.” Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy this beloved story under the stars.

SALUDA: Fireworks Fundraiser for Saluda Volunteer Fire Department

July 5th, 2025

Come experience our fireworks display in celebration of the Independence Day! The program will begin at dusk (around 9:00 pm) but we recommend getting here by 8:00 pm to park. We host this celebration as a fundraiser for the Saluda Volunteer Fire Department and all visitors and guests are encouraged to make a donation in person or online via their Paypal link. We are monumentally grateful for their service in protecting our community from the wildfires earlier this year.

Six Pigs BBQ will be serving food all day and Serendipity Snowballs will be serving sweets all afternoon and evening!

Day and Fireworks Guests are not permitted to bring alcohol onto campground property. Overnight guests are reminded that alcohol must stay on their sites. No guests are permitted to have fireworks of any kind on property (including poppers and sparklers). Those who disregard these policies will be asked to leave without refund.

Visitors arriving after 7:00 pm are not required to pay for a day pass, but we do encourage all visitors to make a donation to the Saluda Volunteer Fire Department in support of the event.

Visitors are welcome to arrive before 7:00 pm and register for day passes at the campground office. Day passes are $10/person (ages 5 and under are free) and allow guests access to use all campground activities including: boating, fishing, swimming, zip-line, soccer, volleyball, shuffleboard, badminton, basketball, skate ramps, horseshoes, pool, carpet ball, foosball, ping-ping, disc golf.

Patriotic Vibes! Cookie Class

  • Doors Open at 6:15
  • The class will be taught by me! No experience needed! Come join us and learn how to decorate delicious cookies!
  • 30 STUDENTS MAX

ASHEVILLE: Fireworks over the golf course

July 5th 9:30pm

Experience a thrill this Independence Day with a mesmerizing firework shows over the golf course at the Grove Park Inn. Although they are being shot off for the guests who booked a package to stay at the hotel, they will still be visible to the surrounding area. Park somewhere off property where you can see the golf course, and enjoy the show! 

Pollinator Day

If you missed our last Pollinator Day at B.B. Barns, mark your calendar for this Saturday! We’ll have kids storytime at 2 pm and kids activities throughout the day, food trucks, a local beekeeper on-site with their hive and an educational talk at 10 am, and more! This event is free and perfect for the whole family, stay tuned for more details!
