Parade of Planets

On Monday, June 3rd, a rare event known as the “Parade of Planets” will occur, where six planets in our solar system align in a straight line.

Saturn and Mars will be visible to the naked eye, but you’ll need high-powered binoculars or a telescope to see Uranus and Neptune. Mercury and Jupiter will be tricky to spot because they are very close to the sun.

The same alignment will also happen later this summer on August 28!

A Day with Dragons

Don’t miss this special event to meet TWO bearded dragons named Remi and Ivey!!

  • Cosmos Face Painting: 11am to 2pm
  • Meeting the Dragons Ivey & Remy: 10am to 4pm

Calling all garden lovers! Join us on Friday and Saturday, May 30 – 31 for our annual Spring Plant Sale and Market. The Market features unique plants grown in The North Carolina Arboretum’s Production Greenhouse and includes over 30 local growers and businesses. 🌿

Shop an outstanding collection of annuals, perennials and crafts to the sounds of live music. On Saturday, May 31st, children can participate in crafts at the Kids Corner. Rain or shine.

Community Baby Shower (Expectant Parents)

Expecting parents! AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina invites you and a guest to a community baby shower. 

We’ll be there with the breastfeeding resources and AmeriHealth will provide food, fun, games, prizes, and TONS of community resources.
