This is event is organized by the Burton Street Community Neighborhood Association this is a free community event with music by local artist free food and a children’s area. Come learn about the history of E.W. Pearson and about the memories of important people in our community with the neighborhood association.

Our annual Oktoberfest returns to Asheville Saturday, August 24 at Big Top with a bunch of individual and team games including Bouncy Ball Race, Dizzy Relay, Brat Toss, Grain Sack Toss, Stein Hoisting, and Mechanical Bull Riding. We’ve got the INCREDIBLE Mountain Top Polka Band throwing down throughout the day. This family friendly event is one of our absolute favorites every year and we hope you’ll join us! $15 includes a custom liter stein and first fill-up. Liter fills of flagship and seasonal beers are $8 after that.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
LAAF, Living Asheville Arts Festival is a yearly festival FOR locals BY locals. LAAF believes in Asheville’s transformational power of creative expression. This one day end of the summer festival hosted in downtown Asheville is an alternative creative placemaking experience where hundreds of local artists through a wide range of art installations, music, performances, artisan crafted goods and other vendors, food, beverages and interactive education.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
LAAF, Living Asheville Arts Festival will continue to activate the core values of our organization by working with partners to hold workshops, discussion forums, and interactive activities that promote the social and environmental well being for Asheville’s arts community. The festival will expand from a general focus on the arts to embody and honor the ways Asheville utilizes creative expression to enhance the natural environment, provide social equity and support healthy lifestyles.

Welcome new and existing customers! Bring your kids to try out mini-classes if you have never taken a class at ACM and want to see if your kids will like it. Or just come celebrate with us if you already know how much you like it! There will be open gym time for the kids and our play area will be open as well. We are excited to embark on another year!
