We are proud that all proceeds from this event will support local aviation education and local nonprofits: A-B Tech Aviation Scholarship Fund, WNC Pilots Association Foundation Scholarship Fund, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC.

In honor of Memorial Day, come join us to write letters to veterans. Once you’ve written your letter come trade it in for a FREE medium drink.

AMC Summer Movie Camp

Mondays & Wednesdays, with two movie times each day to choose from! 

Summer Movie Camp at AMC Theaters nationwide. Welcome Back Happy Campers! Get a steal of a deal on tickets to some of your favorite past animated films every week with AMC Theaters Summer Movie Camp! In the past, our local AMC location did not participate in the summer movie series, but this year they’re on the schedule! Yay!

FREE Sing-A-Long Class (0-6yrs)

Come celebrate music, diversity, and three languages in our trademark interactive dance and music sing-a-long classes! Which puppet birdie will come visit? Come see!

Ticketed entry. Pick up a ticket at Pack Youth Services beginning at 10am the day of the event.

Family Fun Night

Join us for an evening full of family-friendly fun at the Asheville Y! Bring your swimsuit for a family swim, try exciting activities, watch a movie and eat popcorn, and enjoy treats from a food truck.

River Snorkeling (13yrs+)

River snorkeling is a fast-growing hobby to see a world just under the surface of the mountain rivers. Participants receive wetsuits, wetsuit socks, snorkels, and masks. Participants provide shoes that can get wet and securely attach to feet. Meets at the Outdoor Recreation Building with transportation provided from Recreation park.

In Bloom: A Beltane Celebration & Maker’s Market

Join us for “In Bloom: A Beltane Celebration & Maker’s Market” at our RAD Beer Garden on Saturday, May 4th!

Discover unique treasures at our Maker’s Market featuring 20+ local vendors. Get creative at our crafting station, dance around the Maypole, and gather around the bonfire as we celebrate the arrival of summer.

At 3pm, join Family Music Class for a music party featuring original and popular music, instruments for everyone to play, and fun dances for all ages! Bring the kids and get dancing together!

We’ll have food trucks on sight and the cold brews will be pouring, don’t forget your flower crowns! See you there!

Family Music Class (0-5yrs)

Marcia and Jennie will put on a great interactive music and movement class for littles 0-5 and their Tuesday, May 7, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm! Participants are invited to donate to support early educators and enter to win fabulous prizes valued at $1,900 in the Two Scoops of Teacher Appreciation Giveaway.
