Elmo, Grover, Abby Cadabby, and their Sesame Street friends welcome Chamki, Grover’s friend from India, to Sesame Street. Together, they explore the universal fun of friendship and celebrate cultural similarities, from singing and dancing, to sharing cookies! Join the fun and make a memory with your friends and family!
Join us May 20 & 21 for Hot Works Asheville Fine Art Show indoors at the U.S. Cellular Center – up to 140 juried professional artists to sell their original and personally handmade art in all discipline. Professional artist applications are still being accepted for some categories. In addition, young artists in grades K-8 (or ages 5-13) are invited to submit his/her original art to be publicly displayed in the “Youth Art Competition” booth as students begin to learn the rules of being part of a professional art show.

Asheville Outdoor Family-Camping 101

Interested in camping with your family but aren’t sure where to start or ready to invest in gear? Join us for a fun filled camping trip everyone will enjoy. Fees include campsite with nearby restrooms and use of select camping equipment. Participants bring: bedding, personal items and food. Fun camping recipes and activities during the campout included.

Camp DaySpring is a Christian camp located in beautiful Browns Summit, NC and is a branch of Cornerstone Conference Discipleship Ministries. Our 150 acre campus offers exciting activities for all ages including a Rock Wall, Zipline and Giant Swing, Paintball and a lake area fully equipped with canoes, paddle boats and yes….The Blob! Each summer, hundreds of kids and teens gather here to renew friendships, conquer new challenges and most importantly, grow in their relationship with Christ. Our mission is to lead students to Salvation and Christian maturity by engaging the heart, mind, body and soul of our campers during their Camp DaySpring experience.

It’s all about stimulating intellect to complement our curriculum, delving into topics that pique curiosity and inspire learning and thinking in new ways. Four themes will feature an exciting variety of classes led by teachers.

This event is for kids from birth through the sixth grade.
Join us for this family-friendly event in Brevard! The Hunter Subaru Legacy Run is May 6th in the “heart of Brevard.” Both the 5k and Half Marathon routes are USATF certified, and $2,000 in prizes will be awarded in multiple categories. Walkers and strollers are also welcome in the 5K, and there will be a kids’ fun run, an inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, face painting and music, too!
