Free Baby and Child Sleep Seminar

This class will cover:

Why sleep is important

Overview and origins of child sleep problems

Signs of sleep deprivation and overtiredness

How much sleep we need at vaious ages (including best amount of naps per age group)

How baby sleep cycles differ from adult sleep cycles and what really happens during the 4-month sleep regression

Why the right amount of wake time between naps is crucial for helping babies nap more easily and longer and what that amount should be for your child.

CIO and what it means vs. Gentle Sleep Training.

Why a “dark room” isn’t enough and bonus information about how to set up the best room environment to help your baby sleep better.

My 7 most important sleep tips to get your child sleeping through the night and taking restful naps during the day.

Many times, all it takes is a few changes to see improvement. Often, when parents consistently implement some of these 7 tips, they see huge improvements in their child’s sleep. For those needing more help than this, I am excited to be able to point you in the direction of some simple, very inexpensive ways to “do-it-yourself.” And as always, I will share information about how I work one-on-one with families to customize a sleep plan, and support them for 2-3 weeks as they make changes.

Special Offers for Attending!
20% off all items at Oodles & Maggie that day
A Winner will be drawn for an Oodles & Maggie gift card

Is nightime a struggle?

Does your baby take short naps?

Are you rocking, nursing or bottle feeding to sleep?

Does your child wake at 5 a.m. to start the day?

Does your toddler get out of bed/make “requests” all night?

Does every developmental milestone, including teething, cause a major sleep regression that lasts and lasts?

Come enjoy and afternoon out at one of Asheville’s loveliest local baby and children’s boutiques, where you can learn more about sleep and be on the way to solving your child’s sleep problems once and for all. Snacks will be provided. Babies in arms welcome. Please register through Eventbrite in order to receive important communication before the workshop.
