Regal is making it easier than ever to plan a fun Saturday morning with your kids. On Saturdays, for a limited time, they’re showing your favorite family movies for just $2 a ticket at the first showtime of the day (could vary from Saturday to Saturday, so be sure to check their schedule ahead of time to be sure).

Each section highlights known mountains in the region. This building is the first thing people and travelers see on their way to or through Hendersonville. The 23nd Annual Asheville Turkey Trot 5K and Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Jus’ Running is Thanksgiving Day- Thursday, November 23, 2023. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank. Early packet pickup will be Wednesday November 22 at The Wedge At Foundation Cloud Room 5 Foundy St Asheville from 3:00 pm until 6 pm. There will be late registration there also. Keep in mind shirts aren’t guaranteed during late registration. Race day packet pick up will be at Pack Square Park from 7am until 8:30am. The race starts on Woodfin St in front of the Downtown YMCA and finishes at Pack Square Park. Please note, due to restrictions NO DOGS/ PETS are allowed. Please don’t bring them. The course is not completely closed so this is for safety purposes. Race timing will be provided by Right on Time Productions.

Join us in our swamp (Land of the Sky UCC) for some ogre-riffic fun, food, frivolity and film (Shrek). It’s Arms Around ASD’s biggest fundraiser of the year, Hop to the Movies on Saturday, October 7 (rain date 10/21) from 6:30-9:30pm.
There will be a costume contest, face painting, delicious concessions to purchase and we’ll be showing the classic Shrek on the big screen provided by Bug n’ Tater.

The South Asheville Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving tradition that brings together local residents and visitors alike for a morning of festive fun and fitness. Nestled in the picturesque backdrop of Biltmore Park in Asheville, NC, this event combines the spirit of the holiday season with a healthy dose of community camaraderie. Participants of all ages gather to run, walk, or trot while showcasing their enthusiasm and holiday-themed costumes. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or simply looking to burn off some pre-Thanksgiving calories, the South Asheville Turkey Trot is a heartwarming way to kick off the holiday season.
A special after-school workshop just for our youngest cat-lovers. Families with children age 7 & under are invited to relax in the cat lounge and listen to a cat-centric book surrounded by our resident panthers! Foster a love of reading in your kiddos while also socializing the cats in the lounge.
Tickets are $15 and include entry for 1 (one) child + 1 (one) adult. Additional children can be added for $10 at checkout. MAX: TWO children per ONE adult.
Black Cat Tales Story Time workshop is held Wednesday-Friday at House of Black Cat Magic in West Asheville from 4-4:30PM.
