Join us for our 4th Annual Boho Hippie Festival located at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds! Each year we plan to bring more fun and entertainment for your whole family! Put them bell bottoms on, put a feather and flower in your hair and come out!
We will have live music both days, food trucks, performance artists, hula hoop dancers, live glass blowing, face painters, over 100 unique vendors, tie dye station and so much more for the family!
Speakeasy Clean Show
We welcome back an Asheville favorite, Brothers Grimmprov! Come and enjoy a show with all of the twisted fairy tales you could imagine and play for the whole family. We will also have improvisers from around the community performing games with children and adults of all ages throughout the show.

FREE Sensory-Friendly Event: The Super Mario Bros. Movie
We’ve partnered with AMC Theatres in Asheville, NC to sponsor a sensory-friendly showing of the new release The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Saturday, April 22nd! The entire theater will be sensory-friendly so that all can enjoy the show, and tickets are FREE for individuals with sensory needs, their family and friends.

Community Open Swim (SEE DESCRIPTION FOR TIME)
6:00am-8:00am and 11:00am-1:00pm, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
The YMCA of Western North Carolina partners with Buncombe County Schools to manage the new Buncombe County Schools Aquatics Center. The 17,380 square foot building features a 10-lane, 400,000 gallon climate-controlled pool. The center also includes 420 spectator seats, a state-of-the-art timing and scoreboard system, UV water filtration, and numerous energy efficient design features.
At this time, we only offer lap swimming. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult and pass a swim test to be in the pool.
Easter Tea Service
We are hosting an Easter Afternoon Tea Service! Just like our regular Afternoon Tea’s, each guest is served a pot of tea of their choice and a variety of finger foods & treats — but this time, there’s an Easter twist to your treats!
