“Students learn how their body naturally moves so they feel good in their bodies, which helps them to build their confidence and self-esteem.”
Wednesdays
“We will use an imaginative combination of yoga, visual arts, and various mindfulness practices to build self esteem, focus, and creativity.”
Tuesdays
“Come as you are. MomBrain is a group for the new Moms of Asheville to connect and share. We will dabble in yoga, infant massage, and other relevant activities, but mostly just to commune. If you have a new baby, leaky boobs, a sink full of dishes, and avocado smushed into your hair, you’re in the right spot. Come hang out and know you’re not alone in this absurdly exquisite, beautiful and funny time in your life, known as new-motherhood.”
Saturdays
“Join us as we explore the foundations of yoga, weaving basic asana poses throughout songs, stories, games, and pranayama.”
Saturdays
Fridays
This playful and lively class is designed for each tot to attend with a parent or caregiver. Stories, singing, dancing, and postures will bring the spirit of yoga to life for the young ones. We’ll be roaring in lion’s pose, hissing like a snake, and standing tall like a mountain. The focus of the class will be on the kids, so the adults do not need to have yoga experience or flexibility. There will be 30 min of structured activity followed by 30 min of optional social time in the studio.
