Easter Egg Hunt
Hosted by Vanessa Wright and Samantha Mijanovich of Hike it Baby Asheville.
Day: 4/7
Time: 10:00am
Location: Bill Moore Community Park in Fletcher
For all details, please visit their calendar link. If it’s your first time, you will need to create a quick and free account.
“We ask each family to bring 12 stuffed plastic eggs per participating kiddo. We’ll gather all the eggs, then one of the hosts will go hide them in a grassy/forest area. Then the kids can each find 12 eggs of their own to keep! Afterwards you’re welcome to bring a picnic lunch for your family and we can all hang out and play with our new treasures.
Though candy in the eggs is common and welcome, many of our HiB kids have food allergies and restrictions (including my own kids), so toys and other non-edible goodies are encouraged! If your family would like to participate but cannot afford to bring stuffed eggs, please contact me and I’m happy to bring extra eggs for your family. Many people are tempted to bring more than 12 eggs, but this makes it really challenging to make sure we find them all so we leave no trace, and we want to make sure it’s fair to everyone, so please only bring exactly 12.”
Though RSVPs aren’t required anymore, it’s always great to know who to expect! Please comment on their Facebook post if you plan on joining them.
