Meet & Greet and Book Signing with Lauren Paige Conrad
On Saturday, June 14, 2025 – 2:00pm to 4:00pm, please join us at The Hop Ice Cream (and Pop Bubble Tea) for a meet & greet and book signing with Lauren Paige Conrad, author and illustrator of the new picture book, This Is Our City. Drop in between 2 and 4 PM.
This event in the Young Readers Series presented by The Hop Ice Cream and Malaprop’s Bookstore/Cafe is free and open to the public.
4th Annual Kid’s Fishing Day

Summer Storytime: Freedom Stories
We hope that you will join us on Saturday, June 21st for our Summer Storytime!
Families with small children can enjoy picture books themed around the Fourth of July and Juneteenth in the Vance house at 10am, 11am, 12pm, and 1pm.
Crafts like windsocks will be available in the visitor center from 10am to 2pm. This event is free, but donations are encouraged.
