Kiss Country Cares for Kids Radiothon

Join Eddie & Sharon at Asheville Outlets Food Court Friday & Saturday, 6am-6pm!

The Kiss Country Cares For Kids Radiothon benefiting Mission Children’s Hospital is, by far, our favorite event of the year. It’s a chance for us to spread the word and let WNC know just how lucky and BLESSED we are to have Mission Children’s Hospital right here in our back yard. The stories of survival, strength, hope & love we hear from families who know that first-hand…are nothin’ short of awe inspiring. This Radiothon is a chance for you to fund a real-life miracle…and we are honored to be a part it.

Truck City AVL

Buckle up, Asheville! Truck City AVL is rolling back into town, and it’s going to be a paradise for your little gear-head! If you’ve ever wanted to stand in the shadow of a massive construction rig or see the cockpit of a transit bus without needing a ticket, this is your moment.

We’re taking over the parking lot at @tangeroutletsasheville for a day of high-octane (but family-friendly) exploration.
🤫 The Quiet Hour (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM) : We know the world can get a little loud. To make sure everyone can enjoy the “mighty machines,” the first hour is a designated Quiet Hour. No sirens, no honking, and no loud music—creating a low-sensory environment perfect for folks with autism, sensory sensitivities, PTSD, or dementia.
🏗️ It’s not just a “look but don’t touch” situation. This is a hands-on, climb-in, and ask-everything adventure!
Get up close with utility trucks, sleek transit buses, powerful construction vehicles, and specialized rigs that keep the 828 running.
Rec ‘n’ Roll Zone: Asheville Parks & Recreation is bringing the game and play zone!

Remember, adult supervision is required and don’t worry about the weather – These trucks aren’t afraid of a little water, and neither are we. We roll regardless of the forecast!
