→ ABOUT THE ARTISTS
- **Noah Proudfoot**
From the Appalachian Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, Noah Proudfoot is a songwriter with a simple mission- to uplift and inspire humanity through the gift of music. His heartfelt lyrics reflect the sensitivity of a seasoned writer, as he artfully weaves personal stories together with the full spectrum of the human experience. Over the years Noah has had the opportunity to share stages with national acts such as Matisyahu, Gone Gone Beyond, Yaima, and Satsang. Noah is currently on a Kickstarter tour, raising funds to record his third album at Sacred Sound Studios in Costa Rica. He looks forward to playing new songs from that album at Drip Sauna!
- **DJ Osiah**
Osiah is your dance doula – here to birth you into fully liberated ecstasy. His mixes are full spectrum experiences where no feeling is off limits. He takes you on a journey from stillness to chaos and then back home, telling a story through movement and sound, keeping you in that place beyond thought, in that present moment primal feeling, redefining what is holy, wholesome and spiritual. Come twerk yourself to freedom.

July 4th Float and Float (pre Wheel Scorcher)
4th of July Float and Float in Asheville! We’ll paddle nearly 5 miles on Stand Up Paddleboards, inflatable kayaks, and rafts down a very mellow section of the French Broad River that runs right through the heart of Asheville. We’ll have tunes and get as funky and fun as you like!
We have a limited number of SUPs and inflatable kayaks for rent for $25 with paddle and gear thanks to Matt Moses at USA Raft! If you have e your own SUP, Raft, etc please feel free to bring it in. Tubes are fine too. I also have a couple of rafts we’ll bring with coolers, gear, drybags and music! We will meet at 10 am at the Craven Street Bridge Parking Area in Asheville next to the French Broad River in the River Arts District at 10:00am. We’ll have to set our own shuttle to Hominy Creek Park, so we will figure out which cars will shuttle folks up.
- We will float 5 miles back down from Hominy Creek Park. Plan to be on the river 3-4 hours…probably finishing and back around 3 or 4 depending on how fast/slow we go.
- Afterwards, we’ll give folks time to get their cars back etc and regroup at 6pm at The Wedge Foundation for some beverages and hit the Foundation Skate Park.
- We’ll head from here in to Asheville where we’ll roll in to town for a fun group ride. We’ll hit Ben’s Tune Up, of course and can charge there.
- Then, we’ll watch fireworks in downtown Asheville at 9pm. We have some great spots to watch from.
- Afterwards, people can continue to check out town and split off.
Look forward to showing you some fun stuff around Asheville! This is a trip for fun and not actually affiliated with Wheel Scorcher.
Join at your own risk. It’s gonna be a wheely good time!
