Independence Day Weekend Celebration begins July 4th at the Rumbling Bald Resort, and opening day culminates in a fireworks display over the lake on the 4th of July at 9:30pm. Only members and registered guests will be allowed on the property, and only those with a wristband will be allowed on the beach, but the fireworks will be visible from off the property.

Spruce Pine Kiwanis and Town of Spruce Pine 4th of July Parade will take place at 6:00pm on Oak Avenue Downtown Spruce Pine, with lineup happening starting at 5 pm on Roan Rd. Sponsored by the Spruce Pine Kiwanis and the Town of Spruce Pine.
After the parade, stay and grab a quick bite of dinner from a downtown restaurant and then head to Riverside park for the Fireworks show at dusk.

SALUDA: Fireworks Fundraiser for Saluda Volunteer Fire Department
July 5th, 2025
Come experience our fireworks display in celebration of the Independence Day! The program will begin at dusk (around 9:00 pm) but we recommend getting here by 8:00 pm to park. We host this celebration as a fundraiser for the Saluda Volunteer Fire Department and all visitors and guests are encouraged to make a donation in person or online via their Paypal link. We are monumentally grateful for their service in protecting our community from the wildfires earlier this year.
Six Pigs BBQ will be serving food all day and Serendipity Snowballs will be serving sweets all afternoon and evening!
Day and Fireworks Guests are not permitted to bring alcohol onto campground property. Overnight guests are reminded that alcohol must stay on their sites. No guests are permitted to have fireworks of any kind on property (including poppers and sparklers). Those who disregard these policies will be asked to leave without refund.
Visitors arriving after 7:00 pm are not required to pay for a day pass, but we do encourage all visitors to make a donation to the Saluda Volunteer Fire Department in support of the event.
Visitors are welcome to arrive before 7:00 pm and register for day passes at the campground office. Day passes are $10/person (ages 5 and under are free) and allow guests access to use all campground activities including: boating, fishing, swimming, zip-line, soccer, volleyball, shuffleboard, badminton, basketball, skate ramps, horseshoes, pool, carpet ball, foosball, ping-ping, disc golf.

Experience a thrill this Independence Day with a mesmerizing firework shows over the golf course at the Grove Park Inn. Although they are being shot off for the guests who booked a package to stay at the hotel, they will still be visible to the surrounding area. Park somewhere off property where you can see the golf course, and enjoy the show!
