Thursday Trolley Ride

Come and enjoy an old-fashioned 7 mile round-trip trolley ride which lasts approximately one hour and 25 minutes. The ride includes a stop at the Silverline Park where the children can run and play before heading back to the train yard. Spend some time riding the trolley before heading out to see the fireworks! You can also tour their historic railroad equipment before or after the trip.

Their track, first travelled back in 1889 is great fun for all ages, and Craggy Mountain Line Railroad is a Non-Profit Organization which owns and operates the last three miles of the historic Craggy Mountain Line in Woodfin, North Carolina, working to make the rails open for the public to ride. There have been many changes to their right of way since September 27, when Hurricane Helene hit Western NC, but in spite of all the devastation, there are still beautiful views going over the mountain and by the French Broad river.
